Transylvania is a world of its own. If you are planning to come to the festival, imagine you are going on a trip to a magical adventurous country. To really feel comfortable at the festival, you need to take some time and get prepared. Please do not just turn up. As you will stay for 5 days and nights out in nature, it will be smart to have the following gear at hand:

Visa: required, except for:
1. nationals of Romania.
2. a stay of max. 60 days: citizens of Turkey.
3. a stay of max. 90 days: nationals of Croatia, Cyprus, Korea (Rep.), San Marino, Russian Federation and Ukraine, Malaysia.
4. a stay of max. 30 days: nationals of Bulgaria, Czech Rep., Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cuba (organised tourism), Poland, Hungary, U.S.A. and the states belonging to E.U. (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Rep. of Ireland, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden), Slovak Rep., Slovenia, FYROM (Former Yugoslav Rep. of Macedonia).
5. a stay of max. 30 days provided holding letter of invitation issued by a Romanian firm or by the Romanian authorities: nationals of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova (Rep. of), Russian Fed., Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
6. a stay of max. 30 days: nationals of Malaysia coming for business, social or touristic purposes (also applicable to journalists).
7. transit passengers continuing their journey to a third country within 24 hours and not leaving the airport.
